Doobie Brothers (11th Anniversary Gala)

Doobie Brothers (11th Anniversary Gala)
Playhouse Gala
with The Doobie Brothers
Friday, November 4, 2011 at 5:30pm

For more than 30 years The Doobie Brothers have entertained audiences with the staple rock classics ‘Listen To The Music,’ ‘Black Water,’ ‘China Grove,’ Long Train Runnin’, ‘You Belong To Me’ among many others. World Gone Crazy is another chapter in one of the great American music stories, but it’s neither comeback nor nostalgia. An exhibition of aggressive and emotional performances, evocative storytelling, unapologetic attitude and world-class musicianship. Founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons, and 30 year-plus veterans John McFee and Michael Hossack will perform all of the Doobie Brothers hits along with some of their new material.
Join us for a great evening of food and music as we celebrate the Playhouse and honor those who have been instrumental to our success.

Honorees:
Christine and Philip Lodewick - As supporters of The Ridgefield Playhouse- the Lodewicks have been involved since the Playhouse first opened its doors. They continue to support the Playhouse as underwriters of our Arts in Education Series as well as members of our Leadership Advisory Board. In addition to The Playhouse, they have been active in the Ridgefield community for decades. We are honored to have them be our very first Playhouse Gala honorees

Ira Joe is always available to lend a hand as an auctioineer to ROAR, Keeler Tavern, Lounsbury House, ABC, Ability Beyond Disability as well as many other not for profits.
