Originally known in the late 1960’s as The Iveys, British rock-band Badfinger is one of the most prominent bands to come from the Beatles’ record label, Apple. Highly influenced by the Beatles, Badfinger’s most memorable hits include “Come and Get It,” “No Matter What,” “Day After Day,” and “Baby Blue.” A legend in the world of rock, Rick Derringer has been dazzling audiences with his edgy guitar playing since 1965. In his midteens, Derringer and his band, the McCoys, burst on the radio waves with their pop anthem “Hang On Sloopy,” encouraging the young guitarist to pursue his love. Years of playing with fellow guitar heroes Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter fine- tuned his talents and led to the formation of the band Derringer. Continuing to tour, Rick Derringer is known for his hard-rocking live shows – a talent not to be missed!
